If you consider what you do to be an art, then treat it like one. Make sure that you keep improving it. Do whatever it takes to make it the best version you can make of it.

You might not like tests, but if they make your app/library better, use it!

The tools are not to be liked or disliked, just used. Get better at using the tool slowly to help make your art better.
